Around 50 Guides who are members of Girlguiding Isle of Wight attended a ‘Badge Day’ on the 1st February. THREE BADEN POWELL AWARDS FOR VENTNOR GUIDES.

Three members of 1st Ventnor Guides have achieved their Baden Powell Awards the highest award for girls of this age. Catherine Idle 15years old, Beth Hammond 13 and Sydney Pitts 13 completed a range of different activities. Two helped at Brownie meetings for two terms and one helped at the Children’s Centre. BLUE LIGHTS FOR GIRLGUIDING IW

Island residents and those on the mainland with a view of Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth will be able to view it in a blue light on January 30th thanks to Girlguiding IW’s Island Commissioner Deborah Meadows.
