.Units meet in most Island towns and villages.

There are vacancies for adults who can become Leaders or Assistant Leaders, after training, or just be a volunteer on occasions.

600,000 girls and young women in the UK can’t be wrong. With chances to travel the World, learn new skills, enjoy outdoor and indoor activities, make new friends and know that you are in a safe place with caring leaders and helpers there is something for everyone. Training opportunities within Girlguiding can assist with career advancement within your chosen career.

Our incredible volunteers contribute more than ten million hours to guiding every year. Some give us a couple of hours here and there – helping out with driving for trips and holidays, fundraising and events planning, or even doing the annual accounts for local groups. Others give their time as Leaders or Assistant Leaders for units, providing girls and young women with a space where they can be themselves.

With girls waiting to join why don’t you join us to make a difference to the lives of the girls and yourself.
