Members of Girlguiding IW have attended a two- day Freshers’ Fair at IW College. Despite a very wet day the IW Day Parade, this year held in Cowes, saw hundreds taking part. Parading through East Cowes recently were members of Girlguiding IW- Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and leaders, who had joined with members of East Cowes and Whippingham Women’s Institutes and others in a parade to mark 100 years of some women in the UK being given the vote. CHANCE FOR GIRLGUIDING MEMBERS TO ENTER COWES HARBOUR LANDMARK COMPETITION.

A Cowes Harbour Landmark Design Competition has been launched to find an inspirational design idea for an iconic “welcome” landmark to be sited on the detached Cowes Breakwater at the mouth of Cowes Harbour on the Isle of Wight. CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO GIRLGUIDING IW

Girlguiding Isle of Wight has been presented with a cheque for £772 by WightAid. This presentation was made to members of Girlguiding IW by Brian Marriott a Trustee of WightAid during Lendy Cowes Week.
