NEW COMMISSIONERS FOR GIRLGUIDING IW.

Following a five-year term by joint Island Commissioners- Shirley Saunders and Lesley Clifford- Girlguiding IW now has a team of three Commissioners to head up the Island’s leaders and support the 1,000 young members. Peer Education Qualifications for IW Girlguiding members.

Three young members of Girlguiding IW have undertaken training and gained qualifications in Peer Education. Tessa Bryson, 14, Erica Hiscock, 15 and Shannon Attfield, 15 have just finished their Peer Education training at Foxlease, the Girlguiding Training Centre in Hampshire and are now all set to train other girls. AT IW STEAM RAILWAY AT CHRISTMAS

Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and leaders formed groups of Carol Singers to entertain the visitors at IW Steam Railway, Havenstreet on several occasions on the run up to Christmas.
