Very Successful Training Day for Girlguiding IW.

Held at Ryde recently a Training Day for Girlguiding IW leaders and Young Leaders proved to be very successful. ISLAND MEMBERS OF GIRLGUIDING TO REPRESENT UK IN AUSTRIA.

Two Guides from the 1st Carisbrooke (Princess Beatrice Own) Unit and an Island Brownie Leader have been selected to represent the UK  at an event in Austria in 2023. Units across the Island have been busy with regular meetings plus some exciting events. TREE OF TREES ARRIVES ON THE ISLAND

For her late Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June a Tree of Trees was erected outside Buckingham Palace. This work of natural art comprised 350 separate Silver Birch trees.
