Held at Ryde recently a Training Day for Girlguiding IW leaders and Young Leaders proved to be very successful. With a selection of tutorials covering everything from Crafts, First Aid, Girlguiding History and Outdoor Activities there was a topic to suit all interests.
Training sessions were led by local and mainland Trainers all bringing new ideas for those attending to take back to the girls in their Units.
Organised by Lead Trainer Deborah Meadows and Island Commissioner Linda Stone the day also included a raffle to raise funds for the Island members who have been selected to attend an international event in Austria next year.
