GIRLGUIDING IW SUPPORTS MACMILLAN (AGAIN)

Following on from supporting Macmillan on the Island to the sum of £6oo+ last Autumn Girlguiding IW members have been fundraising again for Macmillan their chosen charity. LORD LIEUTENANT ENDORSES DUKE OF EDINBURGH AWARDS.

A record number of 59 young people from the Island achieved their Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards in 2016. There were five Gold Award recipients, eleven reaching Silver Award level and 43 achieving Bronze.
