Members of Girlguiding IW joined with Scouts for a weekend camp and activities at the IW Scouting camp site at. Corf.

Entitled “True Colours” this event enabled members of Girlguiding and Scouting to enjoy time together whilst undertaking a selection of activities. With two nights under canvas the activities included Wide Games and expeditions, some overnight.
There was plenty of food and, with firefighters standing by, just in case, a good camp fire.
Local councillors were invited and those attending included Cllr.Tony Barry Vice Chair IW Council and Cllr. Stuart Ellis Mayor of Cowes who were only too pleased to join in some of the activities.
Girguiding IW County Commissioner Wendy Macklin and Assistant Island Commissioner Emma Bryson also attended and met up with IW Ranger Commissioner Charlotte Young who was camping over the weekend with Rangers from the East Cowes Ranger Unit.
