Don’t miss the chance to try sailing in this Olympic year as RYA Push the Out returns from 14-22 May when six sailing clubs on the Isle of Wight open their doors to the public.
Activities range from a trip around Bembridge Harbour by dinghy at Brading Haven Yacht Club, to half hour dinghy taster sessions at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. You can also choose from a variety of boats at Yarmouth Sailing Club, whilst Gurnard Sailing Club will have experts on hand to take you out for a test sail. Meanwhile, Cowes Sailability will be welcoming people of all abilities to have a go in their specially adapted boats.
As well as the excitement of dinghy sailing there will also be opportunities sail in keelboats and larger yachts at some of the venues. So, check with your nearest club for their detailed programme and get the dates in your diary now.
