Members of Girlguiding IW recently attended the annual BURMA STAR ASSOCIATION service at St. George’s Church Arreton.
Carrying the Girlguiding IW County Standard was Katie Charlton with Felicity Harris and Emma Bryson forming the escort. Standards of other organisations were also carried.
The service was attended by the Lord Lieutenant Susie Sheldon and other IW dignitaries. A special stained-glass window at St. George’s Church is in honour of the Burma Star Association (IW Branch.)
