Brownies, Guides and Rangers plus Girlguiding leaders from across the Island took over Newport’s JR Zone for an evening of games and fun recently.
150 girls attended enjoying the chance to try out the various attractions on offer including slides, soft play and lasers.
Special rates were offered by JR Zone to Girlguiding Isle of Wight members, enabling the girls to attend, with some units choosing these activities as a special treat.
Following the evening one parent said, “Thank you so much for organising this. My daughter had the very best time and has made some new friends”.
Linda Stone, Island Commissioner added, “ It was great to see 150 girls and young women having a wonderful time and it was a chance for girls from across the Island to get together.”
