Two days of ‘the week’ really fit into the Girlguiding ethos- Family Day and Ladies Day.

To help parents and children get the most out of their time at the regatta, a range of family-friendly activities and group offers are provided exclusively for Family Day. Cowes Parade Village, Cowes Yacht Haven and Shepards Marina will be running a variety of activities throughout the day, details of which will be announced soon.
Adventurous families can enjoy an exhilarating RIB ride with Solent RIB Charters for a special family price, or for a slower-paced spectator experience, the spectator boat service provides a significantly discounted family ticket price too.

Harrogate-based premium Gin brand, Slingsby, has partnered with Cowes Week 2019 as the Official Gin supplier for the regatta and headline sponsor of Ladies Day.
The sponsorship package, secured for the regatta which runs from 10th – 17th August, includes sponsorship of the exclusive evening reception on Ladies Day and spectators and other sailors will also  be able to spot a ‘Slingsby Ladies Day’ flag flying proudly on all boats that have female sailors.
Slingsby branding will be seen across Cowes Yacht Haven, Shepards Marina, Cowes Parade and the High Street – giving them a spotlight focus for the many hundreds of competitors and visitors who attend the  regatta.

Kate Johnson, Commercial & Marketing Director for Cowes Week Ltd said:
“We are delighted to welcome Slingsby Gin back to the regatta. Having dipped their toe in during Cowes Week 2016 Slingsby saw the opportunity to be the Official Gin and how warmly the brand was welcomed. We are excited that Slingsby will be sponsoring our famous Ladies Day on Tuesday 13th August.”

Other companies supporting Cowes Week include Chatham, the celebrated Great British shoe label. It  has renewed their sponsorship of  Cowes Week for a further two years. Cowes Week Ltd look forward to welcoming back Chatham, who have been supporters of the regatta since 2013. This brand is an excellent fit for the regatta with their stylish and comfortable footwear popular with sailors and spectators alike.
Philip Marsh, Managing Director of Chatham commented:
“We are delighted to be sponsoring Cowes week for the 7th year running. Cowes Week is the UK’s longest running sporting event and we feel that there is no better place for us to showcase our range of deck, boat and performance shoes. Every year there is a wealth of talent on the water and we are so proud to be there from the feet up.”
