In celebration of the Girlguiding Centenary in2010 an exhibition was arranged in St. George’s Church Arreton. Since then the exhibition, on all aspects of Girlguiding, has proved very popular with visitors to the church. Comments in the Visitors Book have been very positive, many remembering happy times undertaking Girlguiding activities.
To celebrate the Big Brownie Birthday (100 years of the Brownies) in 2014 the exhibition was replenished and up-graded to make it even better. These changes were undertaken by Girlguiding IW County Archivist Deborah Meadows and Marion O’Nions.
Through the summer of 2014 new and returning visitors have enjoyed the new display and a new Visitors Book has been placed by the exhibition.
