East Cowes Brownies completed an hour long Danceathon recently which was in conjunction with the national Girlguiding Red Nose Day Danceathon. Locally this event was led by Linda & Siobaun from LVB Dance Company.
Everyone danced to music from Frozen and had more fun when they all had multicoloured flashing wands so they could dance in the dark.
All those taking part received a Girlguiding Comic Relief Danceathon Badge and this activity was also part of the Brownies Healthy Heart Badge.
Marion O’Nions, one of the East Cowes Brownie Guiders said, “Thanks go to everyone who supported the Brownies and the total amount raised was £281-50.”
