SIRENS & SAILORS – THE LIFE AQUATIC FANS ENCOURAGED TO TAKE INSPIRATION FROM THE SEA.
This year’s IW Festival will see Seaclose Park, Newport transformed into a marine paradise filled with mythical creatures of the deep. From elusive mermaids and King Neptunes to fabled shanty-singing sailors all there as Cinch presents The Isle of Wight Festival with a theme for the 2022 event of: Sirens & Sailors – the Life Aquatic.
Fans keen to participate can take inspiration from nautical folklore and legends, or even Wes Anderson’s movie masterpiece The Life Aquatic. Those in costume and those who want to witness the spectacle should head to Strawberry Fields at 2pm on Saturday 18th June, where the Festival’s best dressed will be crowned. The winner will receive an exclusive backstage champagne picnic.
