Members of Girlguiding Isle of Wight, including Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Young Leaders and Leaders recently enjoyed a visit to Blackgang Chine, the Island’s oldest and most established theme park.

These members belong to Units in Seaview and East Cowes, and on a bright and sunny day everyone had a very good time.

One of the Leaders said, “We had a picnic by the Crooked House and then walked on to Rumpus Mansion which terrified and delighted the girls in equal measures.

The bit they liked best was getting wet on the pirate boat- good job it was a lovely warm day! “

Girlguiding IW members often have outings to the Island’s many attractions as well as trips to the mainland for day visits or longer stays at camps or other venues.
