As part of the Big Brownie Birthday Badge Parkhurst Brownies decided for the ‘ something to help the community’ section to collect and donate craft supplies to the Children’s Ward at St. Mary’s Hospital.
All the girls donated items and some were bought from Brownie funds so that a good supply of items was given to the hospital where the Brownies met hospital staff: Antonia Dawson, Karli Toogood, Helen Richards and Jo Isaacson.
After visiting the hospital with Brown Owl Sue Greenwood the Brownies fed the ducks on the pond and ended the day with a drink in the café at Sainsbury’s.
