With temperatures over 30 C this year’s IW County Show will certainly be one to remember. There were all the usual animals, stands selling all manner of goods, IW produce and a funfair as well as a section for IW charities to promote their work in the Island’s communities.
Girlguiding IW attended on both days of the show with a different selection of activities on each day. Saturday saw, as well as promotional material, badges for sale, Human Fruit Machine and Lucky Lollies.
On Sunday, The Tour De Pork and Glitter Transfers were a hit and several girls registered for Rainbows and Brownies. On both days Girlguiding members from elsewhere in the UK were keen to chat to IW members and despite the heat everyone joined in the fun of the show.
