The National Youth Agency (NYA) have announced that youth activity can start to return in England. From 29th March our Units can go back to outdoor Guiding with up to 15 girls, plus Leaders, but you must have a risk assessment signed off by a Commissioner and you will also need details of who in the Unit has A Safe Space Level 3 and how first aid will be provided. You can still do virtual Guiding if you are not able to meet face-to-face.
Girlguiding are in the process of merging the risk assessments so they all sit in one form for the blended offer – indoor, outdoor and virtual – and the new forms will be available in the next few weeks. Please continue to use the existing outdoor risk assessment in the meantime; the form will be the same, the risk assessments are simply being pulled together into one document for the future.
