Shirley Saunders and Lesley Clifford the new Island Commissioners joined Guiders from the Needles Section at their Rainbow Section Meeting recently.
Held on Wednesday 13th May at the ‘Horse and Groom’, Shalfleet, the usual business and planning meeting was enhanced by a presentation to one of the Guiders.
Section Commissioner Carol Firth presented Sheila Cates of 11th Newport Rainbows with a Girlguiding vase and thanked her for all her hard work and dedication to Guiding over the past 20 years. Carol said “This is to thank Sheila not only for working with her unit but also for her support to the Districts, Rainbow Section and County.”
