New Isle of Wight Walking Festival-“IsleWalk17” – April 29th to May 2017

Take part this spring in the Island’s new walking festival IsleWalk17 which has been created by Visit Isle of Wight  to fill the (walking) boots of the popular Isle of Wight Walking Festival which was run by the IW Council for 18 years.

IsleWalk17 has a packed programme of over 80 walks including long standing favourites; Walk the Wight and the Isle of Wight Challenge as well as exciting new walks such as: Rock-pooling for Grown-Ups and The Mountbatten Connection.

Returning for the fourth year is the Isle of Wight Challenge, organised by the charity Action Challenge. It is a sponsored walk which you can walk, jog or run.

This Round the Island walk takes in spectacular coastlines, dramatic cliffs and sandy beaches. There are rest stops every 12.5 km to help you complete your challenge.

There are three choices of lengths, all starting from Chale Recreation Ground.
