ISLE OF WIGHT FESTIVAL 2014

Although it seems a long way off some acts for next year’s Isle of Wight Festival have just been announced and tickets are now on sale for the event which will be based at Seaclose Park, Newport from the 12th-15th June 2014.
Headlining the Main Stage on Friday 13th June, will be the return of the award winning, anthemic rock trio Biffy Clyro. This will be the band’s only English festival appearance and organisers of the event said that they were excited to say that by getting the band here it is an English festival exclusive! When the public were asked to vote for which acts they would like to see perform at the IW Festival Biffy Clyro were on the list so it is not surprising to see them now Headlining.
Another Scottish performer who will be on stage on the 13th is Calvin Harris, who has had six number one hit singles. Both acts have risen through the ranks with shows and chart topping music, so get ready for a very special weekend.
Prior to these performances, electronic outfit Rudimental will take to the stage for a much anticipated guest set. Not only that, Passenger, The 1975 and The Waterboys will also all be appearing over the weekend.
